South Beach Church organizes an annual mission trip to Mexico, giving our group the opportunity to serve and connect with a rural community and a local orphanage. In previous years, the church has helped purchase land, build a church, and construct a youth bunkhouse, laying the foundation for a lasting relationship with the community. This year, our mission continues as we work to expand the on-site orphanage, deepening our connection and providing even more support to the children who call it home.

Our group will be hands-on with projects at the church and will spend time caring for and supporting the kids at the orphanage. The trip begins on Father’s Day, June 21st, as we depart from Newport and journey south to the border, returning on July 2nd. A portion of the funds raised will go directly to the church to support ongoing projects, and anything above and beyond will be donated to the orphanage to further their mission.

Personally, I’ve always enjoyed traveling with a purpose—immersing myself in new places, connecting with other cultures, and experiencing the world in a way that fosters a sense of global community. This mission trip is a chance to make a real difference, and I’m reaching out for your support. Every donation, big or small, will help us serve, build, and strengthen the bonds that unite us all.
