Westerlaken foundation is a first responder unit for whale, dolphin and turtle strandings. Currently we are in the process of building the first rehabilitation center for whales, dolphins and turtles in the south of Bali, in cooperation with our friends at Jakarta Animal Aid Network. 

We also conduct research on water quality and habitats, DNA and stranding patterns, fight the captive industry and empower communities for sustainable dolphin watching.
