To the friends, family, and all those that have rallied behind us in our lives, we need your help. We’re reaching out to raise funds to help the Edward Family with their upcoming medical expenses related to Paula’s end-of-life of care.

Paula has been in the hospital receiving palliative hospice care for Stage 4 terminal melanoma since 5/29. Her diagnosis has been a shock to all those who know her spirit and energy. Paula has been a loving, passionate, strong, caring, witty, loudly spoken, guitar hippie, 80’s hair-poof-styling, stubborn woman. Unfortunately, cancer has put up a fight as stubborn as her.

She’s been a mother for 36 years to her kids and their peers, a devout dance mom for over 20 years, and loves to visit her friends at barre class every week. Paula enjoys playing the guitar, listening to her large collection of classic rock records, baking a ridiculous amount of food, and tending to her garden to keep her plants bright and healthy. She loves celebrating all of her favorite holidays and birthdays with more care and planning than a Party City (RIP best party supplies shop ever), and cherishing all the fur babies that fill her home with fun, warmth, and lots of loose hair.

As many may know, she has eight bright, goofy, and outstanding children that are rallying behind her through this unexpected cancer journey. Anyone who has gotten to know Paula, knows how proud she is of all her kids and their lives they have created for themselves from coast-to-coast.

Now, as she faces the need for care from her incredible team at Norton Brownsboro in Louisville, her family is seeking help to cover the overwhelming costs associated with this essential care. These funds will help provide her with the peace and quality of life for the remainder of her days she so deeply deserves.
