Unfortunately though, with a prognosis of this particular cancer type, the fight is not yet over.
Clear cell carcinomas are reportedly not receptive to usual post operative cancer treatments such as Chemo and Radiation therapy. The recurrence of this cancer is not unlikely, and regular check ups will be a lifestyle for Pip from here on.
As we have an all clear from the operation, we have an ambiguous prognosis for the future. Pip is in a rough place of being excluded from any Medicare coverage for further treatments she may seek out to help stave off any bad cell development and Oncologists have said there is nothing more they can do.
The scope of this shock all while nursing a beautiful 4 month old baby girl!
Pip has more than herself to look out for now, as lil Lottie gets cuter and bigger by the day. Doing nothing is not an option.

There are things Pip can do to maximise her physical and cellular health and it will require a full dietary overhaul.
Gerson Therapy is a treatment plan that has to be stringently followed for 2 years and is a rather large financial set back. Luckily Australia's only Gerson therapy practitioner is in Melbourne, so Pip will be commencing consultations as soon as she can afford to.

Here is where we can help!
With this therapy comes very selective dietary requirements and equipment to prepare the food and juices she will be flooding herself with forever more. It has been estimated that this regimen costs easily over $15,000 factoring consultations and home start up costs.
Pip's maternity benefits are ending in March, and having a new baby means new financial obligations. Having a cancer diagnosis adds even more financial pressure into it all. This therapy and Pip's new lifestyle needs to commence asap, so we need to act.
Pip has brought so much light, love and dancing into our lives. Lets send love and support back to her through this really rough time.
