Support our local LBI service industry workers

Long Beach Island is such a wonderful place. We live by the tides and the rhythm of the Atlantic lulls us to sleep every night. We’re all so lucky to live here. Well, a LARGE proportion of OUR local economy is dependent on the service industry AND THEY NEED OUR HELP. We’re on the cusp of a possible shut down and during this time we all have to remember our friends and family having to work or not work. While we all shelter In place and work from home, they’re losing their primary incomes. And yeah grabbing a gift card is a great idea to help the business owners but it’s not helping the waitresses, bartenders, clerks and admins that work in our local service industry. So let’s take the money we would normally be tipping and spending and get it to our favorite service people. I’m hoping some of the local businesses will also match to a certain donation amount so they can keep their employees happy and healthy. Please consider contributing to help our local community and if you’re not a part of our local community copy this idea and do it locally.
