Illa J. Brown has faithfully served as a Paramedic in this community for nearly 15 years.  Illa has previously been awarded both the Plains to Peaks RETAC Paramedic of the year and the Colorado State Paramedic of the Year for her outstanding service to this community. On January 2nd of this year Illa was diagnosed with brain cancer.  Illa is the wife of her long-time sweetheart Charley and together they have two amazing children. She has made it her life’s work serving those in need, now she needs us!
