Dear Friends and the Greater San Francisco Community,

I’m reaching out to ask for your help on behalf of a very close friend of mine, a 3rd grade teacher at a local elementary school here in San Francisco. This past weekend, she was in a serious accident and is now facing multiple surgeries and a long road to recovery.

From the extra hours she devotes to her students to the time she spends supporting parents, she always puts others first and is truly a cornerstone of our community. As many of you know, the cost of medical care, treatments, and physical therapy can be overwhelming—especially for teachers who already give so much of themselves. I’m hopeful that, as a community, we can come together to ease some of her financial burden and support her through this challenging time.
