Support Our Legal Battle Against Uber's Retaliation

Uber doxxed me for speaking out — now I need one last push to bring in a powerhouse attorney to hold them accountable.

On May 13, 2025, an Uber Eats driver stole mine and my partner Nick Snider’s food. When I reported it to Uber Support, they didn’t just fail to fix it — they retaliated. They publicly exposed the ZIP+4-level home address linked to me, a public figure with a large online audience, in a tweet reply for the world to see.

This wasn’t an accident. This was targeted, retaliatory, and reckless. That post has put me, Nick, our friend Vanessa, and Vanessa’s young son at risk. We’ve all dealt with safety concerns, harassment, and emotional distress since.

Since that day, we’ve fought tooth and nail to hold Uber accountable. We’ve:
• Filed arbitration with the American Arbitration Association.
• Submitted formal complaints to the FTC, Attorney General, and BBB.
• Filed a police report.
• Documented and reported multiple instances of retaliation.
• Taken our story public via social media and pending news coverage.

We’ve done this pro se (representing ourselves) against Uber and their law firm Perkins Coie — one of the most powerful corporate defense firms in the country. And we’ve taken this as far as we can without legal firepower on our side.

Now we have a real shot. Traverse Legal, led by powerhouse attorney Enrico Schaefer — known for taking on major tech companies — has reviewed our intake and is prepared to conduct a full legal assessment of our case. This could lead to full representation, potentially on contingency, and finally force Uber to answer for their actions.

The cost for this legal review is $550. I’m asking for a total of $600 to cover that and platform fees — not a penny more. This is not about profit, it’s about covering one targeted, urgent step that could flip the power dynamic in this fight.

Nick and I are still recovering from losing everything in a house fire in August 2022 in Texas, which forced us to relocate to Florida. The doxxing, harassment, and the months I’ve spent working on this case have caused major financial and emotional strain.

Uber has had every opportunity to make this right — for 90 days, they’ve stalled, downplayed, and retaliated instead. This step could finally turn the tide.

If you’ve watched me online, you know I don’t bluff. I’m ready to see this through, but this time, with a legal heavyweight ready to hit back.

Every dollar gets us closer to making that happen. Thank you for helping us take this fight to Uber.
