Support our KO 4th Grade Girls Basketball Team go to States!

Hello! My name is Tess Ricketts, Keystone Oaks 4th Grade girls Basketball Head Coach and Parent Volunteer. My team recently won the Best of the West Championship, a local tournament on January 19th! With this win, my girls were awarded an invitation to The Pennsylvania State Basketball Championship ("States") in State College, PA, March 14th-16th.

These girls have come so far at such a young age and within such a short period of time. Our team consists of girls ages 9-10 and from all 3 of our local communities (Dormont, Greentree, & Castle Shannon). Last year, our team ended the season with a losing record, but they didn't let that stop them. These girls came together, worked so hard all year long, and finished this tournament undefeated. We are also currently undefeated in our regular season.

With this wonderful opportunity comes a lot of expenses. We are seeking funds to cover registration fees, travel expenses, food, and lodging costs associated with the State Championship. It should also be noted that they expect over 350+ teams. The tournament also falls on St. Patricks Day weekend which is why our lodging costs are so high. We want to do everything in our power to make sure that all families are able to attend. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact on making sure our team is able to travel and compete at States.
