Support Our Kids' Journey to World Finals

This amazing Odyssey of the Mind Team is heading to World Finals again! If you've never heard of such a thing, you will be amazed when you do. These kids have been working all year long to solve a problem that was given to the rest of the world. The biggest part of all of this is that they must do this ON THEIR OWN. The teams have coaches, but all of the ideas and work must come from the kids.

On top of all of this, when they go to competition (regionals, state, worlds), teams are presented with a "Spontaneous" problem that is verbal, hands-on, or a combination of both. On average, they have 10 minutes to read the problem and solve it, right then, right there.

So, as you can see, it's a pretty amazing thing to be selected to compete in World Finals and our kiddos (Cassandra, Cooper, Emmy, Joe, Kalliope, Owen, and Zeke) are excited to be on their way to Michigan in May!

So, why are we doing a GoFundMe? Well, parts of the trip have been graciously covered by the school district, Cross Middle School PTO, and the Amphi Foundation. But, we still would like to raise some funds to cover some of the additional costs we will incur along the way. We will be in Lansing, Michigan for just under a week.

Any amount donated is a help! All of it will go to the kids, whether it be food, travel, or fun. We thank you ahead of time and appreciate the support!
