You may know Keely from church, The Fort Game Cafe, or just had the pleasure to know her in life. We met Keely at The Fort where she went from being our server to being our best friend and changed all of our lives for the better. She spreads joy everywhere she goes and puts on such a brave face, you would never know that at the beginning of 2025 she experiences her second miscarriage and combined with an existing seizure disorder, this year alone she suffered (20) hospitalizations, including (10) jaw dislocations, broken ribs, internal bleeding from an unhealed ulcer, and several near death experiences. Most recently in October, an artery was knicked during surgery and two bags of blood were needed to stabilize her. At the beginning of this year she unlawfully let go from The Fort while on medical leave and without wages owed to her, and recently her medical EI ran out without warning, and the government strike is slowing the process of applying for long term disability. The financial stress has become unbearable and is detrimental to her health and we are hoping to rally and support her so that she can focus on staying alive.
