Support our Journey to save Dolly's life

Hi there! My name is Molly Neumeister Theroux and I am the proud dog mama to two English Bulldogs, Dale (5 years old) & Dolly (6 months). We currently live in Brooklyn, New York.

We found out some terrible news a couple of months ago that our newest precious addition, Dolly, was unfortunately born with a congenital heart disease called Severe Pulmonary Stenosis. We were told by the cardiologist that under her condition, she won't live longer than 1 year... We are absolutely distraught. Thankfully, we worked with some incredible cardiologists on Long Island who gave us hope; they connected us with a doctor at Colorado State University who is performing successful stent surgeries on dogs with Dolly's condition. This stent surgery would save Dolly's life, however, it's an incredibly expensive surgery. My husband and I are coming off our recent wedding and unfortunately, cannot afford the surgery (and sadly our pet insurance doesn’t cover anything related to her heart condition), which is why we are hoping to raise the money through this GoFundMe. We hate to ask for money from people (especially right now in this economy), but we'd forever regret not giving this a try and doing everything we can to try to save Dolly's life.

If we're able to raise this money, we plan on driving from New York to Colorado in late August for surgery on September 4th, as that is when Dolly will be at the perfect age for the surgery.
