Support Our Journey to Home and Healing (Helene Recovery)

Hurricane Helene came to our house and had a very unwelcome visit. The storm ended up throwing two fifty-foot-plus trees onto our older home, resulting in quite a bit of damage. My fiancé and I have our health, and, (thank God), so do our pets.

However, we do have to pay a large sum in order to get our home back to the way it was. It will more than likely be at least four weeks of living in hotels, working through insurance obstacles, arranging contractors to come and work, alongside the return to our normal full-time work schedules which includes planning our wedding. The money coming out of pocket is basically all of our savings we set aside for that wedding. In lieu of a wedding gift, we are asking that our family & friends would consider donating here to help rebuild.

Any donations to us will go towards covering insurance costs, food, lodging, and general expenses while we are displaced from our home.
