This year, three of my friends and I are hoping to attend CultureCon, a conference centered on Black creativity, culture, community, and professional growth.

As we each navigate the beginning of our post-grad careers, CultureCon would give us the CultureCon2026 opportunity to learn from people shaping the industries we hope to grow within, build genuine relationships with other creatives, and gain insight we can carry into our own work.

I know many of you know me a bit already, but I’d love to introduce all of us more formally!

Amina Ibrahim — Drexel University

Olive is passionate about creativity, culture, and community and hopes to connect with inspiring Black professionals, gain new perspectives, and build meaningful relationships.

Casey Alvis — Drexel University

Casey is passionate about using design to create meaningful experiences and tell compelling stories. She hopes to challenge her thinking, connect with other creatives, and learn from leaders in the industry.

Maya Williams — Drexel University

B.S. in Graphic Design | Junior Art Director

Maya is passionate about creating thoughtful, impactful visual experiences and hopes to connect with fellow creatives, learn from industry leaders, and leave inspired with new ideas and relationships.

We’re currently raising funds to help make this trip possible and leaning on our Drexel family, friends, and LinkedIn networks for support. Contributions will go toward our CultureCon tickets and travel expenses.
