This June, eight outstanding Louisiana high school javelin athletes will travel all the way to Eugene, Oregon, after qualifying for the Nike Outdoor Nationals at the historic Hayward Field. This is one of the most prestigious stages in the country — a place where champions are made and dreams take flight. These young men have earned their spot through dedication, discipline, and countless hours of training, and now they have the opportunity to represent Louisiana on a national platform.

For many of them, this will be their first time traveling across the country, and the financial burden of flights, lodging, meals, and transportation is significant. We want to make sure that every athlete who qualified has the chance to compete — without cost being the barrier that holds them back.
