Support our Hands of Hope Campaign

Tax deductible
June through December is Sierra Leone’s rainy season. The rainy season is characterized by torrential and persistent rainfall. Due to climate change, there has been excessive flooding during the rainy season especially in rural areas.

Now until August 31st, Impact Sierra Leone's goal is to raise $3000 through our Hands of Hope campaign.

The funds will be used to purchase raincoats, mosquito nets, anti-malaria medicine and other essential supplies for the 250 children of Foindu Village, Sierra Leone.

We have already started making Rainy Season Wellness packets with monies raised.

The intense rainy season has caused an increase in water-borne diseases such as malaria and typhoid fever. Right now, agricultural production and school attendance has slowed. By supplying the children with these supplies, they will be able to remain in school, stay healthy and safe.

Your donation today will ensure that each child receives a Rainy Season Wellness Pack.

-$10 can provide five umbrellas

-$25 can provide 10 mosquito nets

-$50 can buy 4 pairs of rainboots

-$25 can provide 10 children with medicine to prevent and treat waterborne illnesses

-$100 can buy 15 raincoats

Give a one-time donation here today. Or, consider becoming a monthly sustainer by choosing the recurring gift option. By doing so, we are able to better plan our programs and have the resources already in place so that we're more effective. Go to: www.impactsierraleone.org
