To all of our Friends, Family, Team Members & anyone that believes in Us & wants to help…

Hello Everyone,

We are writing this letter to update you with what’s going on with the Gym: Team Bully Buster Self-Defense & Team Victory Muay Thai & Boxing.

9 years ago we opened and it's been an incredible journey to say the least. So many lives have been changed, so many children and adults have been empowered, so many of our clients found a new love of Martial Arts and so many now have an interest & knowing of standing up for themselves and protecting themselves…it's been pretty amazing!

We’ve definitely had our ups and downs as well, i.e., the Flood(s) from upstairs & the main water line, Break-ins, Homelessness, Covid/2020, & accidents at our intersection, but even with all of that we still persevered with resilience. In 2024, We recently/ excitedly expanded, knocked the wall down & took over the space next door, added a Boxing Ring & a lot of new equipment, because we love our Students/Clients & wanted to give them more tools to enhance & better their training.

So with that being said & heavy hearts…Our Landlord has decided to demolish the current property from the corner of Whitsett & Riverside down to the Mikado Hotel as he will be building apartments with retail space, so we have to relocate the Gym before the end of this year. Our priority is YOU/the TEAM so keeping the Gym local & not losing any of you is everything to Us & having a space that accommodates everything that we do with our clients and classes is so necessary.

Fortunately, we are people of FAITH and are excited for the New Beginning and what it will bring, but we need our Team’s Help for sure!

We found a location that we LOVE & think is a PERFECT fit for us all!

It’s 4,000 sf, a very safe area, bright, has a lot of parking & we’ll have an indoor sitting area for the parents. It’s a lot bigger than the space we have now and the rent is double what we’re paying now, but we believe this is the right space for everyone & it’s just two minutes away from us now. With the move, new rent, and the build-out, this is definitely going to affect us Big Time financially, but we’re gonna do our best to make it happen. So we’re asking all of you to take hands with us and be part of this journey, please.

What we will be doing:

- Fundraisers at the gym with in-house tournaments for our kids. The parents can come watch their children compete with their classmates & we will have food for sale in the patio area.

- We will be starting a GoFundMe for financial donations for the gym, we really do need it to make this happen.

We say all of this because we want to continue to guide, protect, and empower your children, give them a second home and a safe haven to continue this legacy that we started here in Studio City 9 years ago, so we ask all of you for your help as we make this BIG move.
