Support Our Greyhound's Painful HOD Battle
Donation protected
UPDATE: Beckham now also has a collapsed lung and will need an extreme amount of more care, a tube, and most likely surgery.
Our 5-month-old Greyhound was diagnosed with a severe case of Hypertrophic Osteodystrophy (HOD) disease.
It's an extremely sudden and painful disease causing swelling, fever, lethargy, swelling, and the loss of use in their limbs.
He went from our perfect puppy to being completely unable to walk, and barely able to move, eat, or do anything in a matter of hours.
Multiple days at the emergency vet, tests, X-rays, IVs, opioids, and he's had virtually no improvement, meaning more vet stays.
This economy is tough, and we really don't want to ask for the full amount we have paid. Any small donation is appreciated while we continue his care and pray they don't ask us to euthanize him.
Thank you.
