Our family is holding on by the heartstrings right now. Our sweet girl — our sis, our comfort, our joy, our everything truly — has been diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma which has been very aggressive. Hearing those words shattered us. She has been with us through every high and every low, remaining so loyal with her unconditional love, and now we’re watching her fight a battle she never deserved.

Our momma, a single mother with more strength than she ever admits, has been carrying this heartbreak on her shoulders. She has always found a way to give us the world, even when she had nothing left for herself. Now she is doing everything humanly possible to keep our girl comfortable, fighting, and wrapped in love. She refuses to give up on her, but the financial strain is becoming impossible to bear alone.

We are trying every last option, every treatment, every bit of hope we can. But we are also painfully aware that we are getting closer to the moment no family ever wants to face. The thought of losing her is eating away at all of us.

All we want is to make the rest of her time, whether it’s days, weeks, or months — as peaceful and pain-free as possible. To let her feel the love she has given us and everybody who knew her a thousand times over.
