We are Clawlers, a passionate group of Ferndown Upper school students taking part in this year’s FIRST Tech Challenge- Robotics Competition (FTC) — the world’s most prestigious robotics challenge. Each year, teams like ours design, build, and program robots to solve complex real-world engineering problems under intense time pressure.

But robotics is more than just building machines — it’s about building futures. Through taking part in this project, we gain hands-on experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), learning critical skills in coding, mechanical design, electrical systems, and teamwork. We’re not just students; we’re future engineers, innovators, and problem-solvers.
