We are contacting you today to ask for support for a special L&D nurse who is very near and dear to our hearts.  She has been a mentor, a masterful teacher of our residents on L&D, and an outstanding patient advocate. 

 Our dear friend has endured what no mother of father should ever endure -- her young adult daughter has terminal cancer. 

 We don't believe it is appropriate to share many details. We suspect many of you already know. Regardless, and unfortunately, the prognosis for her daughter is very poor and they have decided to transition to palliative care. 

  

 Your donation could help alleviate some of the economic burden this family is facing and facilitate our friend being able to visit her daughter on the East Coast -- where she is receiving her medical care. This person is finding it more financially challenging to make the frequent trips across country.
