Support our friend Simone.

Hello All. Our fellow friend, Simone, has been in the hospital since mid July due to complications resulting from her diabetes. She is currently in the heart ICU and has undergone multiple procedures. She is now undergoing OT, PT, and speech therapy. She has experienced kidney failure and is going through dialysis on a regular basis. Our friend has a long road of recovery, but she is a fighter and with prayers and well wishes, she will get through this. Austin and Aric, her sons, have been managing her care/finances and have been right by her side through it all.

Several of you who have been aware of her circumstances and have asked how to help. With the permission from her sons, we are setting up this GoFundMe page to provide that additional support we all want to extend to Simone, Austin, and Aric. The majority of us, working in the insurance industry, know that not everything is covered. There will be copays, coinsurance, and deductibles that will need to be paid. Join us in supporting Simone and allowing her to focus on her recovery.

Weekly updates will be provided to keep everyone involved and informed. We thank you for your prayers, good thoughts and support for our dear friend, Simone.

Update:

Simone is doing ok right now… She’s been moved to a new rehab facility(Wendy Hill Hospital). They are mainly focused on weening her off the ventilator and physical therapy. Will still have a long road to recovery though.
