Hello. My name is Keith. I am making this gofundme on behalf of my friend, Nina Fehr. She has been in treatment for cancer starting January 2023. At that time, another gofundme was made to help pay for Nina's cancer treatments, and Nina wants to share her appreciation for all the support she received at that time. However, she once again can use our help.

In summer of 2024, Nina temporarily entered remission. Nina began planning to resume work, but as life unfolded, her health declined again. She has since been hospitalized several times for pneumonia and sepsis. She was hospitalized most recently on January 9th, and she nearly died. She has returned home, but remains in poor health.

She wants to express here that she would like to make the money she needs to survive through work, but she simply cannot do so at this time. Those who know Nina know her strength.

Furthermore, she is now facing the need to sell her car because she can not make the payments. This is how she makes it to her doctor's appointment, and she is worried about how she will get to the appointments.

Insurance costs are rising, she faces losing transportation, and she cannot bring the groceries into her home without falling. With all this, Nina struggles to figure out how to make things work, but she's not giving up.

If I may offer an "author's note", I want to share that I have seen, not only with Nina, but many times - too many times - what it is like to be sick, lonely, and without the faculties to make your own survival.
