Melissa Branagan lost her beloved son Austin Caston in a tragic car accident on May 3, 2026. Austin was only 20 years old, and was a 2023 graduate of Cornwall Central High School. He was the grandson of Shyrl Alsdorf Kirk and Jim Kirk.

This shocking loss has left Melissa devastated, and the financial burden of funeral expenses adds to her pain.
