Dear friends, colleagues, and compassionate supporters,
We are raising urgent funds for our beloved friend and coworker Jhonatan Chavarria, who has been a dedicated part of our company for almost 10 years. He recently suffered a stroke and was diagnosed with a brain tumor, leaving him unable to move the right side of his body. He is currently in a public hospital in Costa Rica, but the wait time for essential imaging (TAC) and surgery is undefined—we don’t even have a date.
This delay puts his life and recovery at serious risk.
He is the sole provider for his wife and young son. With his sudden health crisis, his family is now facing overwhelming emotional and financial stress. They are struggling to cover basic bills, let alone the cost of private medical care, which could offer him a faster and potentially life-saving surgery.
Doctors have warned that if the tumor is malignant, he may also need chemotherapy treatment, which would further increase the cost and urgency of care.
The total cost of treatment exceeds $300,000, but his insurance will only cover $200,000, leaving a $100,000 gap that the family cannot afford.
We are asking for your help to:
Cover the cost of private imaging, surgery, and potential chemotherapy
Support his family with living expenses during this difficult time
Provide rehabilitation and therapy to help him recover mobility
Any amount you can contribute will make a difference. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with others. Together, we can help ease the burden on this wonderful family and give our friend a fighting chance.
Thank you for your compassion and support.
