Our film, CHILL GIRLS follows five girls who convene after a chaotic night, and attempt to solve almost every social, philosophical and romantic dilemma that occurs in your twenties (in a bathroom at 2 AM). This story captures the irony of an overly-confident generation. These characters believe they’ve got everything figured out, yet blow their savings on improv classes and all probably have iron deficiencies.

Reminiscent of the early work of Nicole Holofcener, CHILL GIRLS aims to portray our time in 2023 Los Angeles.

We are shooting this short film as a proof-of-concept for a pilot! You can get in on the ground floor now, any amount helps! <3

Analisa Burns is the writer/director of CHILL GIRLS. This will be her second short film (Red Flags). She has been directing and writing sketch comedy and theatrical productions since her early years of college. Analisa has experience in an array of production/development roles, and feels as though this will be the chillest and most baller project she has worked on thus far.

Max Beasley (HBO, Adult Swim) is the Producer/Assistant Director of Chill Girls. They have been performing and writing comedy for over a decade, and they believe in this project immensely. They’d love for you to take part in developing this special film. As an experienced director of short films, they urge you to help to get us across the finish line!

Zoë Rose Bryant (Letterboxd) is one of the stars, as well as Assistant Director for Chill Girls! She is a film critic and writer with experience in theater productions. Zoë feels as though this is such a special project– full of honesty, heart, and so much hilarity simultaneously. She would love your help in making it a reality.
