Support Our Fight Against Danny's Lymphoma

My sister Danny and I are facing an incredibly difficult journey, and we're reaching out for help during this challenging time.

In October 2024, Danny was diagnosed with aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The months that followed were filled with chemotherapy, hospital visits, and countless sleepless nights. After months of treatment, we celebrated when she achieved remission in March - we thought we had beaten this thing.

However, during what was supposed to be a routine checkup in April, we received devastating news - the cancer had returned as stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma. The doctors explained that this relapse required immediate and intensive treatment.

Danny has now started a new round of chemotherapy treatment, which means she's unable to work and earn the income we depend on. As her primary caregiver and the only family we have, I'm managing her daily care, coordinating medical appointments, and helping her through the side effects of treatment while trying to keep up with my college coursework. It's just the two of us - no parents or other siblings to help shoulder this emotional and financial burden.

The financial impact has been overwhelming. We share a house together and had planned to get a roommate to help with expenses, but with Danny immunocompromised during treatment, we can't safely bring anyone new into our home.
