Our family is fighting for the return of our babies that CPS failed to protect from the start. Their father has provided ample evidence numerous times of abuse at the hands of their mother, Shelby Kuntz, and her boyfriend, Nick Shanks. Shelby and Nick are now facing prison for the severe abuse of their own two children together, as well as animal cruelty. CPS is still withholding our babies from their father. We need to be able to fight this case with everything we have. We are going to sell everything we can, but it still won't be enough. We have suffered without our babies for nearly 8 months at the hands of CPS, who turned a blind eye to their father's clear evidence. Had they listened two years ago when he first began this fight, none of this would have happened. Our babies have been in foster care for over two months and need to be with their family. CPS refuses to even let us visit with them. They are withholding our babies, telling lies, and ignoring our attempts to get updates about them. We have had other workers apologize on behalf of the cabinet for how this case was handled, who have now been taken off the case. We fear we are being retaliated against due to publicly voicing how this case was handled. We need to be able to hire our own therapists and forensic interviewers because we do not trust anything CPS has done or is currently doing. Please help in any way you see fit.
