Support our field experience to Amsterdam!

We’re students from the Sojourner Truth Montessori Public Charter School in Washington DC. Our school, rather than creating opportunities for us, allows us to create our own. We’re a group of about ten students, who, with the help of our school's assistant principal, have started an advanced humanities book club. We are currently reading Anne Frank’s The Diary of a Young Girl, which prompted our decision to visit Amsterdam to see the Anne Frank House, as well as experience the rest of the city. We have no funding from our school, city, or state for that matter. Our school has agreed to foot the bill for our initial costs, but we need to pay them back within the year. Our goal is to raise 15,000 dollars by June of 2024. For our school, a trip like this would be a first, so we need to prove it can be done for (and by) future students. We would greatly appreciate any contributions you could make towards our cause, and hope we can serve as inspiration for the furtherance of cultural education in communities across our country, and world.
