In September Mayen Arok was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a form of blood cancer. Mayen works on the afternoon shift in the Temperature Controlled Receiving team and has been with the business for 5 years.

After an incredibly difficult battle which includes months in hospitals and multiple rounds of chemotherapy, he is now a survivor, but his journey is far from over.

The financial strain that cancer brings can be overwhelming, and he continues to need ongoing support to fully recover and rebuild his life.

Mayen planned on having his wedding in January but instead of celebrating the best time of his life with his wife, he has been battling the cancer in his blood in hospital. He’s more than keen to get back on track, recover and pay off his medical fees so he can marry his fiancée.
