Help Us Bring Skem United Home!!!

Donation protected
Many thanks to all who have made donations to our club.  Our heartfelt thanks go our you all.

Things have been difficult over the last few weeks  which happens in our game.  We are looking for more sponsors to assist us moving forward and getting us back to Skem.

If you know of a company who may be interested in joining us or even someone who feels like they want to support us that would be amazing too.

Skelmersdale United has a long history in the game, being started in 1882, and will continue to do so. We have played at Wembley twice in the past and got promoted to the NPL last year.

Things have been very difficult over the last few months as we have had to temporarily move our home ground to Burscough Fc. We have also faced increased costs for training at the JMO and ground rental at the Community ground. Your kind donations will assist us in keeping going and help us to bring our amazing team back to Skelmersdale.

We are also forming links with local and national charities such a Skelmersdale food bank, who we enjoy having at our home games for supporters to donate food items to on match days. In our new ground we will hope to have a ‘community hub’ for children’s, women’s and disabled football playing too. We have had the pleasure of Clay Brow and St. George’s Eagles grassroots teams as mascots at quite a few home games this season and it’s fantastic to see how much they love coming to games and meeting our players. We also have a very successful Academy who are doing extremely well.

Please can you help us achieve these goals?
We will keep everyone updated on the level of funding achieved and what the funds are used for.

Here is a break down of what we are aiming to do with the monies raised:
  • Provide up to date training equipment for the playing squad
  • Provide First Aid and Physio Equipment
  • Commence preparatory work on our new ground back in Skelmersdale

Here is a photo that shows one of our top young fans Lucas Bergquist with one of our amazing players Callum Lees who gave Lucas his signed shin pads. ⚽️
