Hello everyone, my name is Jacob, and I’m reaching out to ask for any help you can give to support my family during a very challenging time.

I’ve proudly served 11 years on Active Duty in the U.S. Navy, and I have one year left before my contract ends. My plan is to separate from the military to be home full-time with my family — a decision driven by both love and necessity.

In 2020, my wife was diagnosed with epilepsy with no clear cause. She’s an ICU nurse, dedicated to helping others, but since 2023, her seizures have worsened to the point that she’s been unable to work in her field. As you can imagine, that has put a significant financial strain on us.

In August 2025, we welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world. Unfortunately, since her birth, my wife’s seizures have skyrocketed, and her doctors are still searching for answers. Watching her struggle through these episodes while trying to care for our newborn has been incredibly hard.

That’s why we’re seeking help to raise funds for a Seizure Alert Dog, which can cost upwards of $40,000. These amazing service animals can detect seizures before they happen, provide safety alerts, and offer comfort and independence — all of which would be life-changing for my wife and our family.

Your donations will also help ease the financial burden as she focuses on stabilizing her health, raising our daughter, and transitioning into a work-from-home nursing role when she’s able.
