We’re sharing something deeply personal and incredibly meaningful to our little family. We never thought we would post something like this, but it’s worth a shot because we only have not very long to come up with it! Every share and like is appreciated! And any amount of money donated is appreciated!

As a two-mom family, our journey to having our daughter was filled with intention, hope, and so much love. Just over a year ago, we welcomed the most amazing little girl into our lives through sperm donation — she is our whole world.

When we chose our donor, we dreamed that one day she might have the chance to share a biological connection with a sibling. But shortly after getting pregnant, we learned our donor had officially retired, and we thought that door had closed forever. We grieved the loss of that possibility and began accepting that our daughter might never have a genetic sibling.

Then something unexpected happened — we were notified that one last sample became available because another family no longer needed it. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime chance to keep that connection possible for our daughter.

The pricing of the donor vial is $1695 and $500 to store it for 2 years as that’s about the time we would be doing this after I complete school. If anyone wanted to donate towards this, it can be Venmo, Apple Pay, or Zelle!

The challenge is that we weren’t financially prepared for this sudden opportunity. The cost to secure the final vial is more than we can manage on our own, especially on such short notice.
