Our family is going through one of the most challenging times we’ve ever faced, and we’re reaching out for support, hope, and strength.

My husband recently underwent a double lung transplant due to a serious genetic condition that progressively took away his ability to breathe and live life fully. What started as small limitations quickly turned into daily struggles. Even something as simple as walking from his car to his front door would leave him completely out of breath.

Before his condition worsened, he was an active, loving father who cherished every moment with his children. He especially loved playing soccer with his 9 year old son, moments that meant everything to both of them. As his health declined, those moments became impossible, which was heartbreaking for our entire family.

He is also the proud father of a beautiful 4 month old baby girl who absolutely lights up his world. His biggest wish is to be healthy enough to be present, active, and strong for both of his children as they grow.

While we are incredibly grateful that he received the transplant, the journey ahead is long and filled with challenges. Between medical bills, medications, recovery time, and the inability to work during this period, the financial burden has become overwhelming.

Apoya a Nuestra Familia Durante un Trasplante Doble de Pulmón que Cambia la Vida.

Nuestra familia está atravesando uno de los momentos más difíciles que hemos enfrentado, y estamos recurriendo a ustedes en busca de apoyo, esperanza y fortaleza.

Mi esposo recientemente se sometió a un trasplante doble de pulmón debido a una condición genética grave que poco a poco le fue quitando la capacidad de respirar y vivir plenamente. Lo que comenzó como pequeñas limitaciones se convirtió en luchas diarias, incluso algo tan simple como caminar de su carro a la puerta de su casa lo dejaba completamente sin aliento.

Antes de que su condición empeorara, era un padre activo y amoroso que atesoraba cada momento con sus hijos. Le encantaba especialmente jugar fútbol con su hijo de 9 años, momentos que significaban todo para ambos. A medida que su salud empeoró, esos momentos se volvieron imposibles, lo cual fue muy doloroso para toda la familia.

También es el orgulloso padre de una hermosa bebé de 4 meses que ilumina su mundo. Su mayor deseo es recuperar su salud para poder estar presente, activo y fuerte para sus dos hijos mientras crecen.

Aunque estamos profundamente agradecidos de que haya recibido el trasplante, el camino hacia la recuperación es largo y lleno de desafíos. Entre los gastos médicos, medicamentos, el proceso de recuperación y la imposibilidad de trabajar durante este tiempo, la carga financiera se ha vuelto abrumadora.

Estamos pidiendo cualquier apoyo que puedan brindar, ninguna cantidad es demasiado pequeña. Su generosidad ayudará directamente a su recuperación, a apoyar a su familia y a darle la oportunidad de volver a la vida que tanto ama.
