As the temperatures rise, our family is facing a sweltering summer ahead. Our air conditioning unit broke down last summer, leaving us without a way to keep our home cool and comfortable. With three young children, this is more than just an inconvenience - it's a health concern.

Our family is struggling to afford the $3,400 needed to repair or replace our AC unit with our normal monthly costs. We've tried window units, but they are not keeping up with the heat and are running up a $600 electric bill, which is getting hard to afford. That's what has brought us here.
