Hello, I am Nahil Al-Khabbaz from besieged Gaza. We have been in a state of war for a year and 4 months now, and we do not know when it will end. We do not know if we will be among those who tell the story or if we will be part of it. We have been displaced more than 7 times, and every time it is difficult for us. Our dream has become to return to our home that we left a year ago. We are now living in a tent made of nylon and wood, and our bones have eroded from the severe cold. What is our fault that we live in these harsh conditions? We are supposed to finish the school year now like the rest of the students in the world, and I am supposed to finish high school, but a year of my life has passed without me achieving any of the dreams that I had planned for. We have no memory of our country, no house, no school, no neighborhood... It is difficult for us to leave our home for this long period, and perhaps I wish to return to it, but the occupation prevents us and places barriers between the north and the south to prevent us from returning to our homes. We hope that you will help us build a new, stable life abroad so that I and my three brothers can continue our studies, so that we can complete our universities and the rest of our lives, because in this situation we are a body without a soul. We do not know when the genocide will end. We have lost the foundation of our home (my father) who was martyred in this difficult war. The most difficult thing that can happen to a person in his life is losing father in this terrible situations
