I am reaching out to you with great urgency.

My name is Marah Shorafa, I am Palestinian, live in Gaza.

My family, which is 5 members, parents (retired), me (accountant) and my sister “Maram” (pharmacist) and brother “Abdullah” (accountant), I’m talking also for my brother’s family “Mohamed” ( lawyer) which consists of mother “Abeer” and three nephews (5 members).

We all together evacuated to the south finding about safety. We currently live in a dangerous area which is close to constant bombing so we can’t guarantee our survival.

We have lost everything: Our homes, business, hopes and future.

I’m asking for fund to help us to evacuate from Gaza, because our house was bombed and completely destroyed in the war.

And we don’t have anywhere else to stay in here!

The situation in Gaza is catastrophic beyond imagination with destruction everywhere, lack of clean water, healthy food, clothing and medication.

Now, all of us stayed without a shelter, 10 members sleeping on a room which is 3m*3m, without income, in a very scary and dangerous situation where non stop shelling and bombings while basics needs are hardly met.

There is no medication also for my parents who suffer from diabetes and hypertension.

My father “Saeed” aged 63 and my mother “Elham” 60 years old, are sick and need daily medical care, due to the unavailability of essential medications and the destruction of the healthcare system in Gaza.

My brother’s family “Mohamed” has 3 kids, “Leen” is 6 years old, she has recently joined the school for the first time with enthusiasm, but she hasn’t completed two months of school she is very upset now. The other “Nadeen” is 3 years and the last “Saeed” is 4 months.

My brother can’t find milk or diapers for them and if, they are very expensive.

Also, Mohammed suffers from a heart disease, and we are deeply concerned about losing him.

They were living peacefully in their beautiful house and their life was full of love and happiness.

Unfortunately, Their house was destroyed as well.

My nephews are asking everyday: when they can go back to their home which is full of toys, and no-one can answer them, because everything has vanished.

The fundraising will be used to have a chance evacuating from Gaza, which has very high costs due to the local economic crisis.

Each adult have to pay 5500£ and 2000£ for each kid to get permission at the Egypt-Gaza border (total 44500£).

It is estimated that 5500£ will be sufficient to cover the basic needs of my family and my brother’s family in Egypt, including their accommodation, medications, food and other items.
