Recently, I unexpectedly lost my job after the company I worked for went bankrupt. I had emergency savings set aside for a situation like this, and I truly thought it would give me enough time to get back on my feet. Unfortunately, with rent, utilities, transportation, groceries, and everyday expenses for my family, those savings disappeared much faster than I ever expected.

I have worked since I was a teenager, and being in a position where I have to ask others for help is incredibly difficult and honestly embarrassing for me. I don't know how long I will be unemployed, but I am actively trying to get back on my feet and will continue doing everything I can to provide for my children.

Unfortunately, things have reached a point that I never imagined. I'm facing eviction, we've experienced issues with our water, my electric bill is at risk of disconnection, and my vehicle has now been repossessed.

Having reliable transportation is extremely important for my family, especially while I'm trying to rebuild our stability and find employment. **The purpose of this fundraiser is to help me raise money toward obtaining another reliable vehicle and the necessary costs associated with getting back on the road.** Any funds raised will be used toward that goal.

Before turning to GoFundMe, I reached out to assistance programs, including MEAP and other local resources. Unfortunately, some programs have long waiting lists, and I can't depend on assistance arriving in time.

I've also turned to my small handmade business as another way to support my family. I create and sell handmade items through my website, and every purchase allows me to earn income rather than relying solely on donations. I'm doing everything I can from every direction available to me.

Making a video and sharing such a vulnerable part of my life publicly was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I never imagined having to tell strangers that my family was struggling. But as a mom, my pride can't be more important than doing everything possible to keep my children safe and get our lives stable again.
