Hi, we are Jennifer and Jeremy. We have two sons: Tatum, age 10, and Aidan, age 17. Jennifer is a full-time pharmacy technician and Jeremy works at a local factory.  

On June 16th, we lost our mobile home due to excessive rain and flood waters which wiped out the foundation and caused extensive structural damage. This has included water pipes that burst, a utility pole that was downed, and other damages that have currently made our home unlivable. The Red Cross has helped us secure a hotel room for a few nights while we assess the all the damages and while we regroup so we can  determine a plan of action. We have also currently relocated our dog and cats  with friends and family for the time being. 

Never in our wildest dreams did we think this would happen to us. Your home is your sanctuary and safe place and our goal is to simply replace our home and reunite our family in our safe space.  We set our goal based on market prices of used mobile homes, the cost of removing the damaged ones/clearing the property, and having a new power pole installed. 

Unfortunately, we did not have insurance or any savings to fall back on. There is still a lot to figure out and many decisions we have to make on the journey ahead. We thank God that everyone is physically ok after this terrifying experience. 

We know times are tough for a lot of people right now. This has humbled us to realize that just one event or natural disaster can leave anyone homeless and with nothing to rely on but the help and prayers of the community we live in. Every little bit helps and we covet your prayers for our family during this time.  We believe GOD has a plan and we are trusting Him to help us get through this.
