Support Our Family in Restoring Our Home

On September 23 around 1pm I got a knock at the door and it was APD SWAT. They said that they think the suspect who had just shot two individuals is hiding under my home and for me and my wife to evacuate. So we packed our bags and left to my brother house. I got a phone call a couple hours later saying that they will be using tear gas to flush the individual out. Around 1am I got another call that they were able to use tear gas to flush him out and that we can return home. When we got home our home was completely destroyed with broken windows and missing sidings. The tear gas residue was so strong we couldn’t stand within couple feet of the building. We were told a lot of stun grenades and tear gas were used. Our power and water is off due to possible damage under the home from the stun grenades and tear gas. We were told to contact the Risk department for reimbursement but no one is answering our calls. We tried to contact multiple contractors and restoration place but everyone is either busy or will not do the job. At the moment we do not have a home to return to.
