My parents could use some help. Earlier this week, my father had multiple strokes and seizures while in St. Louis for a training. He's non-responsive, paralyzed on the left side, and nonverbal—hopefully temporarily. He's in the neurological unit at Mercy South, with a great medical team. My father, an independent contractor for a veteran's cemetery, is uninsured. Mom is unemployed, and we have no idea what the future holds, aside from significant medical bills.

There's a high likelihood that he will need to enter a rehab facility here in St. Louis before he can be safely transported from Missouri to New York. They will need to remain here indefinitely. I am with Mom and Dad for the time being, but will eventually need to get back to the office, and my ability to help with finances has its limits. Mom needs immediate financial support in order to remain in Missouri to support Dad.

Dave has helped so many people along the way and never asks for anything in return. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated in this uncertain time of need. We would like to be able to provide him with as much support as possible to make this uphill battle a little easier.
