Hi, my name is Maria Nieto, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest moments my family has ever faced. My mom has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She will be starting treatment soon, which will involve frequent medical appointments and travel for care. While we are focused on her health and recovery, the financial strain that comes with this journey has been overwhelming. I will be taking time off work to help care for her and be there during treatments and recovery. This means a loss of income at a time when our expenses are increasing. The funds raised will help cover travel costs to and from medical appointments, as well as basic living expenses while I am unable to work consistently. Asking for help does not come easily, but right now, support from our community would mean everything. Every donation, share, and kind word helps relieve some of the stress so we can focus on what truly matters—my mom’s fight against cancer.
