My name is Anushka, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my partner, Victor Villela, who is the loving father of our two children, with our third expected in February 2026. In May 2025, we moved to Florida, leaving behind our family and friends to start a new chapter. Adjusting to a new place has been challenging, especially without a local support network.
Recently, Victor suffered a fall from a second-story level while at work. During his ER visit, doctors discovered a mass in his kidney. They are 85% certain it is cancerous, and Victor is scheduled for surgery on January 20, 2026. The recovery is expected to take at least six weeks, during which he will not receive any pay. As a stay-at-home mom, I will also be recovering from a c-section after our baby arrives on February 23, 2026, and Victor will need to take unpaid paternity leave to care for our family.
The financial strain of medical expenses, household bills, and caring for a newborn is overwhelming. We are doing our best to stay strong for our children, but we cannot do this alone. Your support, prayers, and kind thoughts during this difficult time would mean the world to our family. If you’re unable to donate, sharing and reposting our story is equally helpful and deeply appreciated. Any help, no matter the size, will make a real difference as we navigate Victor’s recovery and welcome our new baby. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering our family.
