Support our family after sudden loss

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Micah Lussier, and I am fundraising on account of my nieces Anastasia and Florentina, who tragically lost their grandmother and caretaker.

About our loved one, Anne:

Anne Cecile Jewell, 56, died unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, June 23, 2022.

Anne was born to Robert and Joanne Lussier on May 26, 1966 and raised in the Maple Leaf neighborhood in Seattle alongside her six brothers and sisters. During childhood Anne was shy and studious. She enjoyed Camp Fire Girls, tennis and swim team. Anne attended Holy Names Academy for high school 1980-1983, where she met lifelong friends and entered a rebellious phase, gravitating to the punk scene in the U-District. Anne had a tremendous work ethic and always held a job beginning her teen years at Baskin and Robbins. She transferred to Ingraham High School where she graduated class of 1984. Anne began working at Kenworth Trucks and Fisher Bag Company in SODO, followed by Willamette Industries as a machine operator. In 2000, Anne began a long-lasting position with the United States Postal Service.

Anne was a lifelong Puget Sound resident who had an amazing ability to find happiness in everyday life. She loved nature, ferry rides, combing the beach for seashells and all things summer. She poured her heart into her grandchildren, emphasizing values of honesty, kindness and education. Providing for her family and being an example of hard work and continuous learning was her north star. As a heartfelt member of the LBGTQ community she inspired many around her. She enjoyed attending festivals, fairs, cultural events and traveling with her grandchildren.

Anne is survived by her daughter Renee, granddaughters Florentina and Anastasia, as well as siblings Lily, Paul, Robert (Karla), Ben (Ramona), and Fred (Allison) Lussier and Joy Liechty (John), and nieces and nephews Micah, Skyler, Jared, Robert Jr., Maria, Fred Jr. , Sophia, and Asher.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:30am on July 14th, 2022 at Unity in Lynnwood, WA. This will be followed by an interment at Holyrood Cemetery in Shoreline, WA at 1:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to help her family in this hard time.

Thank you, with love.
