Dear Community,

Hi, my name is Emily Hernandez (19). My siblings Ashley (27), Sofia (14), Norberto (13), and I are reaching out for help during a very tragic time for our family. Our dad, Norberto Hernandez (45), was recently involved in a traumatic accident reported in the local news.

On Wednesday June 5, 2024, my dads work vehicle collapsed on top of him while doing maintenance. He was first presumed to have died according to initial reports. Thanks to the quick response of emergency services, his pulse was regained. The injuries he sustained were severe, and he was on life support. On Tuesday June 12, 2024 we were hit with devastating news of the passing of my dad.

My dad was a beloved husband, and my mom is in great distress at this time. He was a wonderful and loving father of 4. He was a good man with a very kind heart and would never hesitate to help others. He was also an independent contractor and the major provider for our family. As you can imagine, this accident has put our family in a very difficult financial situation due funeral expenses, on-going household bills, and expenses along the way.
