Failure to diagnose. Failure to treat. Early discharge. Neglect. Pain and suffering never assessed or treated. Screaming out in pain led to a stroke, followed by death 3 days later. Many, many blood tests with no answers or solutions. Wasting time instead of surgery, which was recommended and scheduled for June 1st, 2024, in the ICU. No doctor follow-ups or follow-throughs. Random, different doctors for weeks. Failure to do ANYTHING but CAUSE her death due to waiting. And waiting. And waiting. And waiting. My beautiful momma NEVER went to a hospital in her life. Sadly, this time ended her life. No "I'm sorry." No condolences. No NOTHING from an INCOMPETENT bunch of unchecked/unvetted doctors practicing on my momma. She didn't deserve any of this. No one does! Her youthful spirit of 74 years lives on in me. Forever! Can you help me tell her story? Please. I tried and tried to get an attorney, but they've all wanted massive amounts of money to even look into any of my documents. Thankfully, I have everything and will continue to tell her story. Our family has been suffering the aftermath of this tragedy, while struggling to just find a job in a city that took everything from us! I'm asking for your help while we navigate our PTSD, depression, and sadness. It's enough to lose a loved one and continue living. But when you also take away someone's desire to work, have a career, pay rent, you're hurting them again and again. Anything you can donate would be used to memorialize my momma's story and support me, her daughter, her voice, in the process. I would love to move from this city, for there's too many reminders/memories. But for now, all I can do is pray I find a job and pay rent, while telling her story. She won't be forgotten! I'm her voice now, but this city is trying to silence everything we do. Please help us in any way you can. I've written Yelp and Google reviews for complete transparency. I've also had my resume up for months with only denial after denial. It's all so very sad and frustrating. Her pain and suffering now follows us. Please help. Anything at all would just give us some hope in a very dark season. I'm also open to any suggestions, recommendations, and even friends. This tragedy really showed me who cared and who didn't. It's amazing how in your darkest time who steps up and who steps away. Or should I say, never cared. Thank you for reading this and thank you for sharing this story.
