For anyone following His recovery, Will us doing better. He stil
has no feeling in his left arm or hand (Dominant hand). But he's not losing hope. There is a benefit set up for him on November 23rd from 12-5 pm at THE VFW it is a family friendly event. Address is 8760 Ranch Road 2243 Leander Texas.
10/10/2024 UPDATE.
Will had been home for 6 days, he went to Post op appointment on Tuesday morning, they stated his right elbow needed immediate RESURGERY. Scheduled him for this morning, they went in, replaced all of the hardware and closed him back up. Not sure the full details but it was not healing properly. We knew this wasn't going to be a one and done deal, but he's staying strong.
9/22 6:30 PM UPDATE
I got the call he has been discharged from Dells Seton and cleared for admission at ST DAVIDS inpatient Rehabilitation. I love his care team. He will have 5 days a week 3 ours a day of therapy.
I asked will to write a thank you for everyone whose donated and shared. He wrote 4 different times but didn't feel it was good enough. The money we have raised has been able to clear his whole month of September's bills. It's been a blessing we do have a long road of recovery. He may still be out of work for a dew months, and if rehab doesn't do the work we need it to do he will be back in surgery for more nerve repair. The stint he has and the cast is keeping alot of restrictions but the nerve damage and zero use if his dominant hand is what we're working on. Thank you everyone for continuing to share.
SUNDAY MORNING UPDATE: He's making progress, getting restless and ready to go to physical therapy. The rehab center called me Friday hopefully he will be transported there soon. He still has no feeling in his left arm.
UPDATE: For everyone who isnt on my fb page for daily updates. He had a chest tube placed on Sunday for blood around his lungs, had surgery on both elbows, it ended up being a little more damaged than originally thought, he ended up losing 7 liters of blood, spiked a fever and his o2 was low. By Monday he had the ventilator removed, oxygen has increased but still had a fever. He was moved to a chair he's very uncomfortable but he can talk now. My heart fell when he called today to check on the girls (09/17/24) so thank you everyone for the support he had no idea he was stressed about how he was going to get things handled.
Hey everyone! My name is Tabitha. As all of you know, my children's father was in a motorcycle accident last night. He is ok. We spent the entire day with him at the hospital; quite a few broken bones and other damages. I'm trying not to get into too much detail because it's hard to even write this. He is ok! He is medically sedated to help ease the pain. He is expected to go into surgery in the morning.
We do have insurance. I will be calling them tomorrow to see if I can find out exactly how much of everything is going to be covered. My biggest worry is that he is going to be out of work for quite some time. We're trying to raise money to help cover his bills and repairs as much as we can so he has a home to come home to when this is all said and done.
We may be working on hosting a few fundraisers in the near future as well. If everyone could please keep him in your prayers. The babies and I are so blessed that he is ok and alive. They love their daddy and we would be so lost without him.
- Thank you everyone!
