Support Our Family's Recovery After a Tree Fell on Our Home

On July 26th, my mom's life was turned upside down when a tree unexpectedly fell through her kitchen, causing significant damage to about 50% of her home. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the destruction has left her with a daunting repair process ahead. As we navigate this difficult situation, we're reaching out for help.

Amanda, her husband Jake, their son Evan, and their 2 dogs and cat are currently staying in my grandparents' basement while she works to figure out the best course of action for rebuilding her home. While we managed to clean the bulk of the rubble out of the house, unfortunately, the cost of repairs is overwhelming, and the deductibles on her insurance are proving to be a significant hurdle.
