My name is Khyla Ross and with your help, I am looking to send funds to my family in Jamaica, towards rebuilding Irie Village & Farm after Hurricane Melissa.

Nestled in the peaceful mountains of Montego Bay, Irie Village & Farm was more than a destination; it was a community, a cultural experience, and a dream brought to life. Our land was a place where locals and visitors came together to share the richness of Jamaican farming, culture, and food.

But in October, Hurricane Melissa swept through our village with unimaginable force, leaving behind widespread devastation. Our crops have been destroyed, our livestock is gone, and every structure on the farm has been damaged or lost. The farm-to-table experience that once brought joy to so many is now nothing but debris and heartbreak.

What Irie Village & Farm Meant to the Community

Irie Village wasn’t just a farm; it was a movement.

✨ We introduced a new excursion experience to Jamaica where tourists could step off the resort path and immerse themselves in authentic Jamaican culture.

‍ From the field to the fire, we hosted interactive farm-to-table cooking experiences. Families, travelers, and neighbors cooked shoulder to shoulder using fresh produce grown right here on the land.

This was a place where locals gained employment, youth learned agricultural skills, and visitors left inspired by the warmth of Jamaican community life.

We built something magical here, something that fed more than just the body.
