My name is Mohammad, and this is my family’s story.
We come from Gaza, where we lost everything — our home, our car, and all our savings — during the war.
After months of fear, displacement, and uncertainty, we were finally able to leave Gaza.
But it came at a very high price: my family had to pay over 45,000 USD just to cross the border to safety.
Thanks to the kindness and generosity of many people around the world, we made it out alive.
Now, I want to continue the same campaign, not to start from zero, but to help my family survive and rebuild their life in Egypt.
Life after Gaza has been extremely hard:
– My mother, Soha, was forced to take a one-year unpaid leave from her job because she had to flee.
– My father, Mohammad, receives only half of his salary.
– My brother Saeed is studying medicine in Egypt.
– My sister Nour is studying in the USA.
– I, Mohammad, am continuing my medical studies in Germany.
– Four of my younger siblings still live with my parents in Egypt, struggling every day with rent, food, and medical expenses.
This campaign is to help them rebuild a life with dignity:
– to cover rent and living costs,
– to support my siblings’ education,
– and to help my parents until they can work again.
Every donation — no matter how small — makes a difference.
You’re not only giving money, but giving my family hope after everything we’ve lost.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading our story and for standing with us.
Your kindness means the world to us — and gives us strength to start again.
